LHSS will present four posters at the International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2022) in Montreal, Canada from our work in Vietnam. This year’s conference theme—"Re-Engage & Follow the Science”—reflects our commitment to optimizing health outcomes and systems resilience through integrated approaches to disease management and health promotion.

With funding from USAID and PEPFAR, LHSS is partnering with the Government of Vietnam to strengthen the capacity of national HIV/AIDS and TB programs, to both finance and manage health care services. With a goal of ending HIV and TB by 2030, Vietnam has significantly increased its domestic funding and management responsibility for HIV and TB response, including integrating HIV and TB into the services covered by social health insurance (SHI).

Securing financing and access to life saving medicines for HIV and TB will lead to decreased mortality and reduced out-of-pocket spending, as the whole population will benefit from improved financial access to essential health services.
