English translation: Methodology and Analysis of Territorial Entities’ Financial Needs to Address the Migratory Phenomenon

This Spanish-language report describes an LHSS analysis of the financial needs of selected territorial entities in Colombia to cover the health care costs of Venezuelan migrants. It describes the development of an instrument that would enable the Colombia Ministry of Health and Social Protection to monitor the accounts that public, private, and mixed-equity health provider institutions submit to territorial entities, considering each one’s financial status and capacity to cover health care costs. The report provides recommendations to improve territorial audit processes and generate new sources of funding for migrant health care.
