Description

A Jordan bylaw issued in 2018 requires all health care providers – including doctors, nurses, dentists, midwives, pharmacists, and others – to take continuing professional development (CPD) courses to renew their licenses. The LHSS Project is supporting the Government of Jordan in institutionalizing CPD and developed this private sector engagement strategy to identify opportunities for engaging the private sector in the provision of CPD. The strategy addresses challenges and opportunities; maps potential private sector CPD providers; and identifies short-term, medium-term, and long-term strategies for engaging the private sector.
