Year 1 Annual Report
Description

Mobile phones, mobile money, and other advances in digital financial technology create new opportunities to speed progress towards universal health coverage. USAID asked the LHSS Project to identify evidence of the impact of digital financial services – such as banking, insurance and payment services that can be accessed via mobile phones and other digital channels -- on financial protection, health service access and utilization, and health system quality, efficiency, and performance, and to identify the underlying factors that contribute to their success or failure. This report presents the findings, conclusions, and recommendations from our review.
