Description

As countries strive to achieve universal health coverage, private companies and nonprofits are creating innovative products and services to expand health care access and protect people from financial hardship. USAID launched the Inclusive Health Access Prize (IHAP) to recognize five private innovators working to improve the accountability, affordability, accessibility, and reliability of health care for poor and vulnerable populations. In addition to cash prize awards, the winners were offered technical assistance to develop their capacity to scale up their innovations sustainably.
