As-Is Process for Continuing Professional Development and Relicensing Health Care Professionals in Jordan

The LHSS Project supports the Government of Jordan’s efforts to improve health care professionals’ competencies to deliver quality health services through the institutionalization of a mandatory continuing professional development system for professional license renewal. This report discusses current processes for continuing professional development within the Ministry of Health’s Directorate for Licensing Professionals and Health Institutions and other stakeholder organizations. It analyzes gaps and performance, identifies challenges, and provides recommendations.
