Video
Description

Did you know, primary health care is essential as it provides affordable and accessible health services to individuals and communities, promoting overall well-being and resilience? Check out our latest video highlighting the collaborative efforts between USAID Local Health System Sustainability Project (LHSS) and six district municipalities from Sylhet and Rajshahi divisions to strengthen primary health care systems in urban Bangladesh. Through tailored training sessions to the preparation and approval of primary health care implementation plans, LHSS supported six municipalities – Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Natore, Joypurhat, Sirajganj, and Naogaon – to overcome challenges and improve access to equitable primary health care for vulnerable population. LHSS has helped these municipalities in enhancing their planning, budgeting, and resource management, equipping them to deliver effective primary health care services.
