Video
Description

The video captures the significant sharing of a young student with HIV who was recently treated by a community-led social enterprise (The Niem Tin Song Tien social enterprise) participating in the current social contracting pilot in Vietnam. He was scared and worried when his test for HIV showed two lines, even thought about suicide. However, he was reassured and became positive after receiving the treatments and help from The Niem Tin Song Tien social enterprise.

LHSS Vietnam (with other development partners including other USAID implementing partners, U.S. CDC, UNAIDS) has been supporting VAAC who leads social contracting work in Vietnam since 2020. The social contracting pilot started in 9 pilot provinces in Vietnam since April 2022 and will end in 2024.
